Terms of Service

Last updated June 20, 2026.

Using a calculator on this site, or reading one of the guides, means you accept the terms below. There is no account to create and nothing to sign, so this page is short by design.

These are study tools, not a grading rubric

MathCalcTools applies standard, published mathematical formulas and rounds results for readability. That makes the tools useful for checking your own work or reviewing a method, but it does not make them a substitute for a teacher, a textbook, or an official answer key. For anything graded, or any decision where the exact figure matters, verify the result independently before you rely on it.

No warranty, and no guarantee of fitness for a specific use

The calculators and articles are provided as is. We test formulas by hand and against known worked examples before publishing, and we fix errors that get reported, but we do not warrant that every output is free of mistakes or suitable for your particular situation. To the extent the law allows, MathCalcTools and the people who run it are not liable for losses connected to using this site, and you use the tools at your own discretion.

Outbound and affiliate links

Some links on this site, mainly in the footer, are affiliate links. A purchase made after clicking one can earn this site a commission, at no additional cost to you. That arrangement has no bearing on which calculators exist or what they compute.

If these terms change

We may revise this page as the site changes. The "last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the current version. Questions about these terms can go through the contact page.
