Marcus writes and edits the calculator guides on this site. His background is in building data pipelines and testing calculation logic, which is why the articles here tend to show the check as well as the answer. He covers technology and data topics across the Encore Editorial network and does not hold a teaching credential or a degree in mathematics; nothing on this site should be read as instruction from a certified educator.
Chris owns and runs MathCalcTools through Encore Editorial. His role covers the technical side of the site, advertising, and business decisions; he does not write or edit the calculator guides or articles. Reporting an error
If a formula, a rounding rule, or a worked example looks off, use the contact form and name the specific page and numbers involved. We check the report against the underlying math before touching the page, and any fix is reflected in that page's own content.
